Description
The Indian Paintbrush flower symbolizes resilience, creativity, a connection to nature, and appreciation for the beauty nature shares with us. A fitting name for this beautiful shining orange extract. As you will notice with the lab results, everybody was getting real creative with the numbers. One person says 80%, another 57%, and yet another different lab at 65%? That’s a pretty big gap. Let’s ease your mind of any anxieties to start… this stuff SMACKS. Our test group used the 80% number to start and yielded great results with dosing, maybe needing a bit more weight than a true 80% would suggest. Once our additional set of labs came back at 57% they ran it again using 60% as a metric and got floored. So stronger than 60%, and maybe not quite 80%. All solvents came back clean as a whistle once again. We plan to utilize this extract for premium tablets, as it has a very warm and fuzzy super well rounded feeling that leans just the right amount on the heavy side of things. Based on tester feedback this extract did “feel” stronger than the Dahlia V2, but not quite as strong as the Golden Lotus 68%. Goes to show the one thing useful about third party analysis is ensuring solvents are within acceptable levels but the alkaloid levels for novel compounds are on a roller coaster and shouldn’t be taken super seriously because everybody has a different story. This is why we have such an intensive procedure with extra labs and testing groups before releasing any powder- to give you the best, safest, and most accurate experience. As time goes on and the shady activity is addressed, labs will become far more consistent and reliable.
It is part of our new procedure to obtain additional third party labs on every new powder. That means every 7-OH powder we offer will have 3-4 sets of expert analysis before being offered to the public. Once by the chemists that make the extract, once at their chosen third party(s), and once more at a third party lab of our choice. We hope this will help educate and set a new industry standard as well as inspire confidence in our customers that they are making the best choice.
Manufacturer Analysis: 64.79% 7-OH
SD Pharma: 80.33% 7-OH
NNAnalytics: N/A
Murray-Brown: 57.5% 7-OH
We have priced this extract according to about 70-75% 7-OH results based on the varied lab results and tester feedback.
Side note: Why is it missing pseudoindoxyl testing? Some of the finest kratom labs in the country have no way to confidently analyze pseudoindoxyl yet. Somehow these other pop-up labs can do it? There’s a lot of funny business going on in this industry. I would trust those numbers as far as I can throw them. We’re here to bring you the truth and set a new standard. Even if it means taking a hit. Which labs do we recommend giving a skeptical look to – Anresco, Cora, SD Pharma, NNanalytics. We realize we have used SD Pharma labs historically. We believed them to be accurate, and sometimes they are accurate, but we are opting for results from other labs that are more familiar with kratom to give a better scope of data.
