Capsule Orders Delay
In order to offer all of our strains and blends in capsule format – we have to make them all in-house. We actually package all powder fresh to order as well. If you’ve ever had to make capsules before, you’ll understand the painstaking amount of time it can take. Generally the orders come in on a relatively staggered basis and we can get them completed quickly. This week a TON of capsule orders came in simultaneously in addition to a bunch of other orders. In order to keep everything moving along, only so many hours can be dedicated to making the caps. As business grows we continue optimizing labor allocation to increase capsule production capacity while still getting all other orders shipped out quickly.
Depending on your needs, here’s a few tips to get your capsule orders faster:
- A batch of 100, 200, and 400 take approximately the same amount of time to make.Â
- If you order a bunch of different strains at 100 capsules each (the 5x100ct split is a good example)- that order will naturally consume the most amount of time.Â
- A good comparison is the 5x400ct and 5x200ct take about the same amount of time to complete.Â
- The 2x100ct and 100ct take about the same amount of time to complete.
- Getting a 400ct of a single strain can be made 3-4x faster than a 5x100ct split.Â

Since the 60% Hercules extract is temporarily unavailable, that also means no more Liquid Luck and Happy Panda Shots. We are making 2.0 versions of each utilizing the new 50% salt for the interim. A new enhanced capsule using the salts will be available as soon as it is cleared through our testing rounds as well.Â
Project Tablets
After some discussion it’s looking like our next big project will be manufacturing tablets. Takes a lot of math, research, expensive equipment, and more math. Won’t bore you with the strenuous details, but it has to do with accounting for densities, flow rate, hardening factors, flavor ratio, the ratio of active product (mit) and flavoring/color vs the binding materials- among many other variables. Most of the details are ironed out but it will require some re-designing of the shop to fit the equipment, and troubleshooting for the winning formulation. We’re taking a step back to re-analyze our New Year’s goals and review all the plans before pulling the trigger. Slow and steady wins the race. After crunching the numbers, the supplies will be on the way and test rounds will begin. Once clearing test rounds a promo release will happen. This process can be time consuming, but is vital to ensure what you are getting is only of the BEST quality.
